The different food flavours were absolutely spectacular. This chef learned his skills in various European restaurants before returning to Saigon and blending it with the Vietnamese cuisine. He has true skill in lifting flavours to the next level. Incredibly impressive experience in terms of food taste and quality. Probably a matter of time before this chef gets a Michelin star. Nice little touch is that with every dish you get a couple of small cards that explain an interesting fact about some of the ingredients. This is something you can take home as a nice memory. Slight remark: it’s quite expensive, even in comparison to European prices.

Went here for dinner with my partner, had a lovely time. Some dishes of the tasting menu definitely stand out more than others. First time ever having cards of the food with detailed descriptions, very unique. Ants were also quite nice!

Absolutely marvelous! Initially, I hesitated to pen down my thoughts, as finding unique superlatives for the outstanding food, ambiance, and service seemed a daunting task, given the plethora of glowing reviews. Yet, I couldn't resist. The tasting menu proved to be a culinary delight, with each course, including the oyster and lime ice cream, attaining a level of excellence. The service exhibited nothing short of perfection, and the ambiance was simply flawless. Every penny spent was justified, and achieving such a blend of price and quality is a rare feat, especially in Europe.

The 20 course meal was superb experience! You'd still feel hungry after the 5th meal. Then you're full by the 10th meal. Then very full by the 15th meal. And you're just struggling to stand up after the 20th meal. 😁 Excellent with good bottle of wine!

My benchmark are Esta and La Villa. We had the tasting menu together with the 1.5 million VND wine pairing. The wine pairing was a letdown apart from the Austrian riesling, but the food was surprisingly good. My favorites were the oyster dish and the salted caramel dish. When they say it’s a 20 course tasting menu, don’t they mean 20 separate courses, but some courses involve three dishes and count as three. Average quality of the dishes was very high and I think it outperforms Esta. Staff appropriately enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Decor I thought was all over the place but there is one good painting near the restroom.

Very good meal here ! Top of the line service ! Lots of food so go hungry ! We are 2 westerners who ate here and loved everything about the menu and food we ate . Only issue for me was the quiet non existent atmosphere.. and the wine pairing . For such a high end restaurant serving top tier food. The pairings included cheap Prosecco , Kim Crawford white wine that could be bought at a corner store . They need to step it up with the wine pairings.

Tasting menu was mostly delicious and you would not leave hungry. Service was excellent and very attentive. Extremely glad to see degustation fine dining popping up in Vietnam. Looking forward to trying another season's menu next time.

Such a fabulous experience. If you're looking for a special relaxing experience with incredible food A by Tung is it. Incredible food, exceptional staff. We got champagne to start and picked a delicious bottle of wine. Overall it's a must stop for incredible flavours in Ho Chi Minh.
